Education Center

The Education Center was established at the Gdynia Aquarium in 1998 in order to popularize knowledge about the sea. From that time on, students from the Tri-City and surrounding areas and school groups from all over Poland took part in many projects. Our main goal is to familiarize the largest possible number of young people with current issues regarding biology, ecology and protection of the marine environment. Participants will learn about the world of the sea through the senses of touch, sight, hearing and practical experience.

The exhibition of our zoological garden, which is located at the shore of the Gulf of Gdańsk, gives an opportunity to show organisms associated with the Baltic Sea ecosystem, as well as aquatic fauna from almost all over the world.
